Park St. sign in Centralia, Pennsylvania.

Although most things in the small town of Centralia have been demolished, there are still some signs of what the town once was, such as this lonely and sad street sign.  Crooked and broken, it still stands to guide visitors through the deserted streets.  Haunted by the bitter memories of the past, this sign stands as a reminder that selfishness and monetary greed should not be what guides our lives.  Had people not turned a blind eye and held money above people’s lives, then perhaps this sign would not just be a guide for visitors and ghosts.
