This photo was taken in the St. Ignatius Cemetary in Centralia, Pennsylvania.  This particular grave marker brought a myriad of emotions to my mind.  The town of Centralia is itself a ghost town and this proud but lonely cross just seemed to symbolize the emotions of the town as a whole.  What was once beautiful had slowly been beaten down and ravaged by time.  As this cross stands as a guardian for the deceased it also forces us to call to mind what the town once was.
